“Psychology and mathematics are two disciplines that are intimately linked. Without mathematics, psychology is toothless” (https://www.bps.org.uk/) The AMSP has been working with The Association for the Teaching of Psychology (https://www.theatp.uk/) to support teachers to deliver the mathematical requirements of A level and to encourage cross-curricular collaboration. Join Cat to discover the mathematical challenges students face in A level Psychology and get hands on with some of the interactive activities we have created.

This session would be of interest to teachers of GCSE statistics, A level and/or Level 3 Core Maths.Delegates will need access to a laptop or smartphone during the session.

Cat joined MEI in 2018 and continues to support schools and colleges to offer Level 3 Core Maths. She is particularly passionate about bringing maths to life for those who are not yet convinced of its value. Prior to joining MEI she worked in schools, Further Education and was Level 3 lead for a local Maths Hub.
