Supporting GCSE grade 5/6 students at A level

Charlie Stripp

09:00 - 10:00 Saturday 30 June

A level Mathematics / Further Mathematics

Students with grades 5 or 6 in GCSE Mathematics can find it difficult to make a successful transition to AS and A level Mathematics study, yet many of them would benefit significantly from achieving these qualifications. This session discusses ways to support such students to succeed at AS and A level Mathematics and invites delegates to share their experiences and ideas. This will help to inform MEI’s work to support increased participation in AS and A level Mathematics.
